2002 HD Heritage Softail

This is my third NEW Harley. It was originally blue and silver. When I ordered it, purple was not an available color. So, it took me 10 years, but I finally got her painted and all decked out the way I wanted. I love to ride and am a member of the Motor Maids for 8+ years. I have 35K miles on this bike. My friends call me the Purple Goddess so I have renamed my bike to Peggy (PG). We have been to the tip of Maine and as far West as Wyoming. My dream is to ride to the Floriday Keys. Our next big ride will be Texas in 2014. Until then, it's short hops and as many miles as we can do in a weekend ;) I love to ride and since redoing Peggy, she is so comfy I feel like I can ride forever. Last May, 6 of us rode from Virginia to Iowa in 2 days, spent 2 days there and rode 2 days home! I loved every minute of it, rain, fog, heat and cold, nothing was dampering my ride!! My Mother rode when I was very young, she liked hummingbirds and the color purple too, so I had the Derby cover engraved with a hummingbird "angel" in her memory and also a hummingbird painted on the back of the front fender. That way, she is always riding with me.
