1999 Kawasaki Vulcan 500

by Abe

My 1999 Vulcan 500's left side carb keeps dripping gas when it is not running. The carb is not cracked and the seals/gaskets are in good shape. I Had a Tune-up done and both carbs cleaned, but still the problem exists. It seems like the left carb is flooding. Thinking about replacing the fuel supply valve to a type that has a shut-off capability (would turn it to OFF when not using the bike, and to ON when using the bike). Is there such a type of fuel valve for my motorcycle and would replacing the fuel valve to this type affect the carb's components due to turning off the gas supply to it, any suggestions?
Thanks.
Abe
