1983 KZ250

My father left me this pretty little bike when he died. We were always saying we were going to take a ride together ... never did. He had been upset when I got my motorcycle endorsement when I was 17 and I was well out on my own by time he began riding.

I currently ride a '95 Sportster and really have no interest in a little bike. It is now at my brother's in Newburgh NY and as far as I know, all it needs is a battery. It's a shame to leave it just sit and collect dust ...

Looks like a real nice bike my daughter just bought a 350 honda its her first-I have an 250 honda rebel which I've had for a few yrs now mostly ride in my neighborhood few times to work-they are great starter bikes!! Maybe try American Pickers they love the older bikes!!

Shame to sell it

Seems a shame to sell it. Couldn't you find a member of your family that could use it. Surely there is somebody that would like to learn to ride and that would be perfect. Sorry you and your dad never got to take that ride together.

Too bad you're so far away. I am wishing for a new bike. I had to give mine up a few years ago to save our house and miss it more than I can say. I hope she finds a new home and will be loved! Thanks for sharing your story about your dad too. Very touching!
