PS: Is Hattiesburg near Meridian? I think one of my best friends was born in Hattiesburg, and now he's a cop in Meridian.

I saw a 2010 Royal Enfield Bullet Classic 500 at a show and fell in instant love. I'm thinking next year, I may sell my dual-sport & buy the Enfield. I like the military version, just like yours (only fuel injected).

Any complaints or words of caution?

Hi Jen,

I love your bike! A "real" Royal Oilfield--very cool! Please tell me that you intend to adjust that headlight before riding her at night......8^)

I can relate to the big banger, kick-starter and Lucas electrics; I have four BSA singles, three 441 Victors, and a 250 B25. I love them, and I bet you feel the same way about your bike!

Great to work on. Simple engine you can pull apart, make shiny and put back together again. I once owned a single cylinder Aermacchi Harley, that I really grew to know. Regretfully I sold her.
