1965 BSA

I bought a 1965 BSA 650 thunderbolt chopper the other day. At first it would start and run about 4 mins then suddenly lose power to everything and now the light will come on but will not get fire to the plugs to even start! The guy I got it from has it hooked to 2 toggle switches to fire up the lights and power, and I replaced both of them to no success. He also put the little electrical box on it to replace the stator or rectifier, I'm not sure which? Please if anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it? Thank you

Back to basics. Rip his weird shit out and grab an owners manual from the net or library and get back to the fuel, fire, and timing core. Lay a plug on the cylinder head and when you have a spark move onto fuel then timing.
